On average, we in the UK buy around two million tonnes of clothes a year, 30% of which does not get worn. So we’re inviting you to come and swish! Swishing is an organised clothes swap event where you can update your wardrobe in exchange for unwanted goods, while having fun and raising money at the same time.

Ami Christopher from Age Cymru will be chatting to Peter Cox on Friday morning (10.30am) about the upcoming Vintage Clothes Swap on April 11th at the CMC Sports & Social Club.

There will be a clothes swap on one side of the hall, and on the other will be stalls selling crafts and other items.

Come and swish with us and raise much needed funds to help support vulnerable older people throughout Wales.

Bring up to 10 items in good condition between 9.30 – 11.30am and collect your tokens.
Entry is £3 per person (free for children under 12 years old).
Enjoy refreshments and music until the swap starts at 11.30am. The bar opens at 10.30am.
Have nothing to swap? Buy up to 10 tokens for £1 each at the door.
We accept men and women’s (but not children’s) clothes, shoes, accessories, jewellery and books.
Any items left over will be donated to our Age Cymru shops.
There will be independant stalls selling crafts and vintage goods (not part of the swap).
