Working age stroke
Stroke is closer than you think. This year, the focus for Action on Stroke Month is on working age stroke. The number of strokes occurring in men aged between 40 and 54 has rocketed by almost 50% in less than 15 years, yet many younger people are still unaware that they are at risk of stroke.
Nicola from the Stroke Association called in to see Shannon on her Friday show, to take about the importance of Knowing your Blood pressure and the F.A.S.T campaign.
