The National Hospital Radio Awards 2020 were due to take place in Bolton at the end of March, but due to the Coronavirus pandemic they were postponed.

However earlier this evening (13th April) volunteers from all over the UK, gathered online to hear the winners announced virtually by Sean Dunderdale and Alan Dedicoat.

Radio Glamorgan (RG) were shortlisted for three awards in the 2020 ceremony.

We’re really pleased to have picked up the Gold Award for ‘Station Promotion’, a short promotion which was produced to showcase our exclusive series of programmes (Music was my first love presented by Andrew Woolfe) which has seen many RG volunteers and special guests choose their 10 favourite songs.
