On Monday 23rd March 2020, Boris Johnson addressed the United Kingdom. The message was to ‘Stay at home’ to stop the spread of Coronavirus cases.

The following weeks and months, all of our lives changed in one way or another and at Radio Glamorgan, we were no exception. We as volunteers were told not to enter the hospital we’re based within and that all our operations would have to continue remotely in some way.

When you’re used to a purpose built studio full of equipment, the prospect of producing/presenting a radio show from home is daunting feat but many of our volunteers managed it, learning new skills along the way too.

So to mark one year on since that announcement by the Prime Minister, we’ve got a whole day of shows that have all been produced at home in recent months.

We hope you enjoy them as much as volunteers enjoyed putting them together
