Rules of Membership

Please note: Failure to adhere to these expectations may result in loss of membership Fees and Membership

1. All members pay an annual subscription to the Treasurer

2. Full members are authorised to hold U.H.W security passes

3. Presenters are entitled to apply for a door card on payment of a refundable £10 to the studio manager.

4. Probation period for new members is at the discretion of the committee but no less than 3 months

5. U.H.W passed must be returned when you resign your membership

6. Membership resignations must be in writing to the Membership Secretary

Use of the Station

1. Members should always register in the book in the office when making any visit to the station.

2. Presenters must always complete and sign the presenter studio sign in sheet (Kept in The studio)

3. Ward visits must be authorised by the committee and UHW and members carrying out this task should register in the book in the office prior to visit

4. The Computers, Printers and Photocopying facilities are to be used for RG business only

5. Outside broadcasting equipment is normally only used for RG events and hired out at the discretion of the committee

6. All food and drink should only be consumed in the office and under no circumstances should they be taken into the studio

7. RG CDs are not to be removed from the studio

8. On arrival at the studio, the answer machine must be checked and switched off during shows [Answers OFF button] and if no presenter is following you then ensure it is turned back on. Any messages must be recorded in the phone message book

9. Presenters must ensure that their show is being Video Recorded

10. If you are the last presenter to leave the studio you must ensure that the permanent mini disc player is playing and you can hear it through the speakers in the RG office.

Absence and Attendance

1. The AGM is compulsory to all members

2. All members must attend three of the six membership meetings per year.

3. Notifications of absence must be addressed to the secretary

4. Members are expected to make a regular commitment to the station and attend fundraising and other important events.
