Radio Glamorgan Awards 2007

A fun night was held on the 16 November 2007. Live music, a

quiz, launch of the RG website, eating of lots of cake

................ oh, and some winning of awards!!!!

The awards were judged by Kevin Thomas, an ex-RG presenter who went on to join Capital Radio. Presenting the awards with Kevin was Dave Brooks, another ex RG Presenter, who is now with Real Radio.

2006 Awards:

The inaugural Radio Glamorgan Awards took place on the 14 October 2006.

This was a fantastic opportunity to recognise personal achievement and commitment among the RG team.

Awards Results

The award for Best Specialist Show went to Karlo King for his ‘Weird World and Wayout’ show.

Jamie Pritchard was awarded best feature for his Speedy Spoon Tunes Game.

Best Named Show (As Voted by the Public) was awarded to Jamie Pritchard for the Sunday Showdown.

Michael Boyce was voted Radio Glamorgan's best presenter, with Geoff Davies as the second runner up, followed by Gareth Rowlands and finally John Wilce & Jamie Pritchard.
