Weekend Wind Down with Nicky C

This is my first year at Radio Glamorgan, having returned from living in Spain where I produced and presented shows for three radio stations. I have a love for music and comedy from all genres and since returning to the UK I set up and run my own comedy website, and have the honour of having my own show here at Radio Glamorgan, so I am now able to indulge in both my passions.

About the show
5 till 7pm on a Sunday evening, join me for the Weekend Wind Down, ‘Back to Back with a Classic Track’ where I play the same song sung by 2 different artists, where you decide which is best! I have my artist of the week, (suggestions always welcome) I play you three tracks and give you some background on the artist or artists, the rest of the show is over to you, I play all your requests and shout out’s while slipping a few news stories that do not always make the headlines.

Version 2

Peter Cox

Peter started his hospital broadcasting over 45 years ago in Birmingham, taking a long break when he became a full time journalist/radio reporter. After lots of other careers he returned to the fold seven years ago at Radio Glamorgan. You can find many of his interviews and some complete programmes in the archives on his web site. He engages with listeners - and his featured guests - on his twitter feed @peterdcox and welcomes comments and suggestions for the show.

About the show:
Usually on air Friday between 2-5pm. The show has a couple of regular features: six decades of "No 1's This Day", and an interview guest, often live or from another studio anywhere in the world, or on the phone. However they join in, it's lively chat about them and their life, be they musician, writer, opera star or health minister, and three pieces of music chosen by them. The rest of the two hours gets filled with mostly Welsh artists ranging from reflective singer/songwriters, to rock stars.

Citizen’s Band

Bill has been at Radio Glamorgan since 2015. In that time he has presented numerous one off specials, guested with other volunteers and presented Citizen's Band for over twelve months with Ben Gallivan. He has a strong passion for Welsh music scene, and now presents Citizen's Band on Radio Glamorgan solo every Thursday between 10pm and midnight. It’s a mixture of the best in local and Welsh music, classic tracks and studio guests and sessions.

He works on his website God Is in the TV (GIITTV), and runs Sound and Vision PR that works to promote up-and-coming and established Welsh artists.
