Our International Women’s Day programme fronted by Julie Kissick has been recognised in the Best Speech Category, meanwhile Janine’s fundraising efforts which saw her hike up ‘Yr Wyddfa and raise nearly £700 has earnt a nod in the Special event category.

In a new category for this year, the finale of Sam Rees’ mammoth 24 hour broadcast from December 2024 features in the Moment of the year shortlist.

Finally, we also picked up a nomination in the Station Promotion category for our ‘healthy choice’ trailer that you may have heard which includes the voices of Sam, Jill and our Chairman Jamie (complete with his sparkly jacket!)

Jamie Pritchard, Chairman of Hospital Radio Glamorgan said,

“These nominations are a true testament to the work that goes on at our wonderful radio station. Being recognised for the 10th year in a row in the Station of the year category is incredible too and we look forward to celebrating in Bolton in a few weeks time”
