Radio Glamorgan presenter Luke Davies will be tieing up the laces on his trainers again this March to take on the Cardiff University World Half Marathon. The race which features famous runners, including Mo Farah, will take place on Saturday 26 March as is the first time the IAAF race has been in the UK since 2009.

Luke, who has already completed the Cardiff Half Marathon in 2014 and 2015 said “I enjoy running and getting the exercise, especially after Christmas. My goal is to complete the course in under 3 hours.”

Luke will be raising money for Radio Glamorgan, “I want to raise as much money as possible and I am also helping to promote the charity”

“Training is going Hunky Dory, I have set myself a challenge to run an hour at least twice a week in preparation for the race”
